We recently took delivery of a new laser that is used to treat wrinkles, fine lines, skin texture, acne scars and sun damage. This new laser, called the Matrix Fractional CO₂ laser, is the most advanced version of its type. Unavailable until this past Spring, it is capable of deeper treatments than its predecessors. Not only is the Matrix used for the face, it can also be used on other areas of the body as well. Compared to procedures we were performing just a few years ago, downtimes are shorter and recovery is safer and easier.

This high speed UltraFine Fractional Laser uses tiny pulses of light, delivering narrow columns of energy that can reach the skin’s dermal layer. This stimulates a natural renewal process of the body’s own collagen. Also, because the laser beam has been fractionized, small areas of untreated skin will be left between the treated spots. By strategically performing the procedure in this way, the healing process is accelerated.
