     Laser Hair Removal

Our practice recently began using a very powerful hair removal technology: the brand new Light Age Epicare LPX, an Alexandrite laser.

Dr. Rosenbach strongly believes that the Epicare is the finest laser hair removal system available.  Alexandrite lasers are highly effective and have strong track records of safety.  Our new Epicare will allow for even better safer than nearly all of the older systems because it emits longer blinks of light, which are often safer than shorter blinks.

The Epicare delivers great results with the fewest number of treatments we've ever seen.  Patients will save time and money seeing us for half the number of treatments that they would have to undergo at day spas using weaker lasers.  Dr. Rosenbach personally sets the laser for each patient to create the strongest, most effective, and most efficient program possible.

  • This laser is highly adjustable and can be used on most skin types.
  • Unlike other lasers which require shaving just before treatment, the Epicare can treat patients with stubble.  The operator can better see the areas that need to be treated, which in turn means shorter treatment times. 
  • This is the strongest Alexandrite laser that is capable of varying the blinking time.
  • The laser uses a unique air cooling system that increases comfort and enhances hair removal.  The air cooling hand piece also allows for better visualization than with other cooling techniques, which also helps the operator aim more accurately.

Dr. Rosenbach also uses the Nd:YAG laser, which is considered one of the safest for patients with very dark skin.  The Nd:YAG laser also features the air cooling system that decreases discomfort while enhancing safety and effectiveness.
