Schematic Botox Botox™ is used to prevent undesirable muscle movement that can create wrinkles. This protein has been approved by the FDA for middlebrow furrows because of its high safety profile. Botox was originally used to treat certain muscular disorders and was subsequently discovered to be an excellent means of treating wrinkles by relaxing certain muscle groups in the upper face. Fortunately, the dose for treating wrinkles is dramatically lower than that needed to treat muscular disorders. Results last from three to six months. Dr. Rosenbach uses a technique he developed termed Schematic Botox to accurately reproduce each individualized procedure. Future treatments are thus standardized while still tailored specifically for each patient. Dr. Rosenbach’s goal is to minimize wrinkles while maintaining a natural appearance. Profusive sweating of the underarms, palms and soles is also treated by Botox. Two treatments each year are highly effective for most persons with this problem. |
